Let's talk about HIP HOP

Hip Hop used to be about dancing, self-expression and having a good time. People battled it out on wax, (A Record) not with bullets. If we want keep Hip Hop Alive, we must all stop with the senseless beefs over stupidity, learn to love each other and have fun! Music is supposed to make you happy.

We've lost so many Great artist by the gun - Why are they recognized after they are dead and gone? Tupac and Biggie were two of the most loved/hated Rap Artist to ever grace a stage or lace our minds with lyrics. They both will be truly missed. All of our fallen artist will be truly missed.

Stop saying Hip Hop is the biggest influences on people doing bad things and own up to your own mistakes and wrong doing. Stop giving people a reason to do bad and place blame on HIP HOP or the Artists behind the music. Yes, some will follow their favorite rapper to the T, but if you are really following that rapper then why not dig a little deeper into their lives and find out who they really are. So called "Gangster Rappers" are simply telling their story and once they get a chance to get out of the life they're rapping about they do. People tend to fall in love with the bling, the cash, the whole glitz and glamor of it all. Why would you want to be followed by the police and have to look over your shoulder everywhere you go - there is nothing glamorous about that.

The media plays a large role in keeping something brewing or even initiating it. When the media initiates the alleged beef between rap artists, some rap artists find out like we do - ON THE NEWS OR VIA INTERNET. Sad huh?

Yes, there are some bad rapper or thugs or whatever the terms is right now, that makes it bad for those who are just doing their jobs as ENTERTAINERS.

I grew up on Hip Hop in Brooklyn, NY in an era when we danced outside to Hip Hop music and enjoyed ourselves 'till the street lights came on and had to go in. Rappers got along, they hung out together and supported each other. Yes, there were some that didn't get along, but it wasn't nothing that couldn't be battled out on Wax.

Why can't we let the good times roll and we just have fun in the process?
