Thank you lord for blessing us with this day. Thank you lord for allowing us to be apart this day – this HISTORIC DAY, November 4, 2008.
We stand tall with arms raised and fists pumped…OBAMA YALL!
As tears flow from my eyes – I’m crying tears of joy Yall!
Black brothers, white brothers and all of my sisters and brother of all colors, stand tall Yall. We all scream together. …. OBAMA YALL! OBAMA YALLL! One more time for OBAMA YALLL!
Let’s take a moment of silence, for our civil rights leader, and leaders who’ve marched and sacrificed for change – I can only name a few as the list is way too long, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Thurgood Marshall, Jessie Jackson, William Edward Burghardt, initials, W.E.B. last name Dubois (Come on Yall) Like the Little Rock Nine, who challenged segregation in the deep South and won. We did it Yall!!!
Let’s take a moment of silence, for making HISTORY, because we listened to His-Story
And we stood behind and beside the man, who will be the 44th President of the UNITED States of America, OBAMA YALL!
We did it!!!! Thank you lord!!!! We did it!!!! Thank you LORD!!!!! We cried together, we ride together, No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment we shall condemn- Let no man put asunder, because we stood tall together, stood on long lines together, we may have went into private booths, but we voted together. When Obama read his victory speech, we listened together. Yes, our feet might hurt, but not like our leaders who marched to get us we where are today. Your one-hour, your two hours or even three or more hours of sacrifice made HISTORY Yall…. Obama Yall!!! A man can't ride your back unless it's bent." Dr. Martin Luther King. So we stand tall for his dream, we stand tall for our dream, proud to be us. Proud and powerful with our heads up high. Let’s embrace this day as HISTORY WAS MADE…. our first black President of the United States…Mr. Barack OBAMA YALL!!!!….
YES WE CAN and YES WE WILL…. TOGETHER Yall!!!!!!
We may have had many firsts in our lives, but this is the BIGGEST FIRST of them all. We never thought that this day would come, but it has, and we salute you, Barack Obama, as being our first Black president of the United States of America.
Say it loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud!
Remember - UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE’LL FALL Yall.
Let’s continue to support our 1st black President
OBAMA YALL!!!!!
