Are they Greedy, Insensitive, Careless or Heartless, when it comes to treating their celebrity patients with prescription drugs?
This is a HUGE problem in Hollywood. It is obvious, that people with money can get their hands on just about anything they want, but shouldn’t a line be drawn when it comes to prescription drugs? It’s hard enough trying to win the war on drugs in non-celebrity neighborhoods. Street drugs are often grown or mixed in homemade labs. At least we know that, but the prescriptions that are killing the celebrities are not. If the physicians are aware that the medication has the potential to cause a problem, like addiction, why are they not doing more to prevent it? Why continue to supply the drug that will keep them addicted. After a while the body becomes immune anyway.

Michael Jackson and the drug propofol (DIPRIVAN), how did he learn about this drug and the effects? Yes, some can say via Internet, but if you do your own search it simply shows that the drug is dangerous and has to be administered by a trained professional in a monitored facility or the patient could die. A doctor had to tell him about it and introduce it to him. Why? With all the money a celebrity of his status has, was Propofol all they could come up with? Wasn’t there anything else much safer for insomnia?

Would A Doctor treat his family or friends the way these celebrities are being treated? Doctors have the power of saying, NO. Doctors are supposed to help save lives not assist in potential suicide or Manslaughter, nicer word for Murder. What happened to just saying No! So you lose that celebrity as a patient and probably save a life. Why aren’t many people stepping in to support the band of illegally writing of prescription drugs? Would that put the doctors doing the writing and the posh rehab centers in a position to feel a recession? Everyone has a hand in this; no one should be left out. If Michael Jackson weren’t a superstar, would he have access to the type of drug like Propofol? Let me answer, NO!

A situation like this makes me sick! I thought doctors took an Oath. Should doctors have a license to kill? Is it fair to compare doctors that illegally write prescriptions, to the drug dealer on the street selling illegal drugs to make a living? They both want to get paid, right? It's all about the money, correct?

Too many celebrities are dying from accidental overdoses of prescriptive drugs. ALARM!!!!
I remember when the average drug addict use to overdose on a drug like cocaine, heroin, but now we have the prescription drugs to worry about. It’s out of control in Hollywood, but the numbers are rising outside of the celebrity communities as well. It is now considered a National Epidemic. ALARM!!!

Fact: Prescription Pain Killers Are Involved in More Drug Overdose Deaths Than Either Cocaine or Heroin in the U.S.


If the celebrity doctors took a portion of the money that is received from their celebrity patient(s) and donated it to people who couldn’t afford to pay for the medications, it would help so many people here in the United States. With so many without medical insurance in America, senior citizens die because they can’t afford their medication. They cut pills in half and even skip days to make the medicine last. You name it, it probably happens. It should be a law passed that would make all doctors involved with writing illegal prescription, to take the all the money received and give it to charity and provide assistance to the sick and less fortunate. I know its wishful thinking, but it’s a thought.
