April is STD Awareness Month
Large numbers of college students will or have already been infected with an STD. Those same students can or have infected their sexual partner(s) with an STD. Two thirds of people infected with STDs are under the age of 25.
Birth Control Pills only prevents pregnancy, not STD's. A Condom should be used during each sex act, including oral and anal sex. STD's can also be transmitted orally.
When parents send their college students care packages, should they include condoms in that package - their daughters included?
Is it promoting sex? Is it sending a wrong message? I say, NO!
Parents should include Condoms in their college students Care Package, because it's better to be Safe than Sorry. Sending them Condoms, doesn't mean, your child will automatically have sex, it just means, that if they chose to have sex, they have protection.
It's okay for the woman to give the man a condom, it show responsibility.
What are your thoughts? Let's talk about it!
